We're starting to build this in the open. Here's what's coming.
There are two pieces, and both are early.
The first is an intelligence feed: a clear, sourced picture of the field — who's building what, where robots are actually working, and where the money is going. Every claim links to its source. Announcements stay separate from real deployments.
The second is a registry. Cars have VINs. Planes have registration numbers. Humanoid robots have nothing like that. We're sketching a record that follows each robot from manufacture through ownership changes, repairs, and retirement.
Pilots are turning into purchases. Once robots work next to people, questions about responsibility stop being theoretical. Better data helps everyone — manufacturers, operators, and the people writing the rules.
Different places are taking different approaches. China is moving toward lifecycle registration. The EU has new machinery rules from 2027 and the AI Act. The US has no federal framework yet. A consistent record makes accountability clearer.
Issue #1 is out. Nothing is finished. We're building it in public.
